Five of the Best Champion Picks, Plays, and Stats from Week 7 of this LEC Summer Season

Updated: Feb 8, 2021

Coming in the final superweek, the standings are nearer than ever before. Here are the top choices, stats, probuilds, and plays from Week 7.

The League of Legends European Championship Summer Season is a complete nail biter. After Week 7, just two groups, Rogue and MAD Lions, have locked into their play places, and there is only one final week of matches left to playwith. The most fascinating thing? Every other team remains in playoffs disagreements. Normally we view the previous week of matches full of troll games and clown fiestas, but this time, each team is going to need to try their hardest in their final 3 matches to seed themselves to get a play place -- and even possibly a ticket into this World Championship.

G2 Esports are picking up steam with wins over both Fnatic and Team Vitality. They have reinvented their pro builds with a huge focus on the ancient match -- but make no mistakethey are nevertheless the scrappy, skirmishing G2 Esports which made a dent in the past year's Worlds. Having a couple more wins under their belt, then they may have the ability to turn their whole year around and stand on top once more. For Fnaticthe following week is the final opportunity to demonstrate they belong into the top six groups. Following another 0-2 week, then they're in dire need to get a triumph in the last superweek.

Did your favorite player earn a place in our selections of the week? Listed below are the top five choices, plays, and stats.

4%: Schalke 04's opportunities to make movie prior to Week 7

FC Schalke 04 haven't had a fantastic Summer Season. With a dull beginning and zero wins at a fantastic chunk of this season, they eventually picked up their first success in the halfway point, chalking up a win over Fnatic, of all groups, during Week 4.

As they have been trailing in last place during the summerthey want some miracles to occur to even look at getting into sixth position and clinching a play place. In reality, before Week 7, they just had a 4% probability of making it to the playoffs in the end of Week 8. But, things have now changed.

With both wins in Week 7 over Excel Esports and Origen, things are looking better for Schalke. Using their 5-10 record, they still should go 3-0 in the superweek to think about making it into play contention, and they will require the teams to lose some matches also. In reality, should they win every one of the matches, they've a 72.7 percent likelihood of making it into the playoffs. With matches from Fnatic, Team Vitality, and MAD Lions, matters could seem dicey, but Schalke have pulled off discriminated against higher ranked teams -- and lovers will undoubtedly be hoping for a miracle following weekend.

Dan Dan's Gangplank pro Builds: 4/1/5 vs SK Gaming

Misfits Gaming's Danny"Dan Dan" Le Comte had another incredible match on his trademark winner Gangplank Pro Builds. In this one versus three contrary to SK's Kha'Zix, Yuumi, and Ezreal Pro Builds, he was able to get a kill on Kha'Zix Pro builds without perishing, which led to a last push towards the top inhibitor to terminate the match in Misfits' favour.

The win against SK Gaming was extremely important for Misfits' playoffs opportunities. At this time, they're in shared seventh place with Origen and Team Vitality at six wins and nine losses. Next week they'll have the last opportunity to prove themselves worthy of a play place against two of the toughest teams in the league tier list, G2 Esports and MAD Lions. Can they push ?

Caps' Zoe Pro Builds: 7/0/5 vs Team Vitality

How do G2 Esports win? They do it by getting Rasmus "Caps" Winther ahead. Caps is consistently carrying G2 Esports, in their victories and even in their losses. In this early-game gank, Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski and Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle visit Caps in the mid lane for a spicy dive under the turret. With an early lead, Caps roams to the other lanes and picks up kill after kill to start the G2 Esports snowball victory that we're used to seeing from the team in spring by pro builds.

Are G2 back on form? Analysts and fans love to ask that question, but the truth is that it's still too early to tell. G2 Esports' strength stems from their versatility and individual skill in contrast to the other groups at the LEC. G2's members have talked about the fact they aren't as adaptable in their selections as they were, since they have practiced . It appears they are only now finding their groove using ancient game plan, but how well do this work in a best-of-five? Until G2 Esports prove themselves once more at a best-of show, we can not say for sure that they're back in their own Worlds form.

11: Rogue's Inspired KDA

High KDAs are usually earmarked for AD supports and conveys. Nevertheless the KDA pioneer in Summer is not one other than Rogue's jungler, Kacper"Inspired" SÅ‚oma. Three other Rogue members will also be in the top five. So, how can Rogue players possess such a top KDA? It is easy: they do not die. Rogue have demonstrated themselves to be among the cleverest teams at the LEC. They do not struggle when they do not need to, plus they perform exceptionally well around eyesight. This means that players do not get caught just as much, which contributes to fewer deaths overall.

While KDA is not everything, as Damage, Gold contributes, and Creep Score are also significant, it will tell the story of Rogue's game nicely. Rogue's players do not play as flamboyantly as MAD Lions or G2 Esports, however they do get the work done. Players such as Emil"Larssen" Larsson and Inspired play League of Legends. They play to their strengths, which can be playing with the book, as is evident with their 11 wins to four declines, it works!

Shad0w's Hecarim Pro builds: 5/3/7 vs Origen

MAD Lions enjoy diving backlines, and which winner does this better than your favorite undead centaur, Hecarim Pro builds? MAD Lions never don't deliver within their compositions. This time they drafted a Sona Lux bot lane using a probuilds Twisted Fate in mid century. After both Twisted Fate and Hecarim hit level 6, it was time to dip the enemy bot lane.

Hecarim Probuilds

Even though MAD Lions were on the rear foot in certain sections of the game against Origen, they were able to get back in the driver's seat following this fantastic grab by Zhiqiang"Shad0w" Zhao. The followup by Sona Probuilds and Lux Probuilds made certain that MAD Lions murdered three Origen members, that then set them up to get a Baron. Together with the Baron enthusiast, MAD Lions managed to turn their focus to the mid lane and electricity through the Nexus. Following that, they could finish the match in under four minutes.
